Jackson Chameleons have an Alkaline or Acidic internal PH?

I drink alkaline/ionic water and also have turned friends onto it with fantastic results. All kind of health related problems disappearing. Now i'm healthy but I drink it for preventative measures.

I wanted to start giving my cham some alkaline water but I wasn't sure if he had an internal alkaline body chemistry or acidic. At the moment I give him a neutral 7.0ph water.

Can anyone well versed in this area give me any scientific insight? I'm not looking for speculation as I wouldn't like to take a gamble with my cham's life.

Thanks

I am not well versed on chameleon's internal PH number.
But, when in doubt, always refer back to your chameleon's natural habitat.

Do Jackson drinks such water in the nature to preserve their health? Would they get an access to such source in their environment?
If the answer to those questions are no.. then, perhaps, it's better not to introduce such elements into your chameleon captivity.
Hope that make sense
