Jackson cham calcium supplements

I currently have a small colony of Dubias, I mix a bunch of stuff for there food but I add a TON of the Exo Terra Calcium + D3 to there food so my Jacksons will be getting that extra supplements.

I also spray the Dubias they eat about 4-5 times a week with the Zilla Calcium Supplement spray so they can get some extra calcium.

I have a male and a female Jackson I believe is gravid, so I want to make sure I am not over doing it with the supplements or under doing it...

What do you guys think?
Is there something else I should be giving them?
Do you think I am giving them to much or to little?

Jackson's are more sensitive to oversupplementing than other species. Personally, I don't add any supplements to the gutload for my feeders. D3 especially is one not to overdose on - the schedule I followed for both my Jacksons is - plain calcium once a week, vitamins (without D3) once a week and vitamins (WITH D3) once every 6 weeks. I use the supplements to dust the feeders rather than in the gutload. Less is more where Jackson's and supplements are concerned. Check out the Jackson's care sheet in this link: https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/jacksons/

Thanks

Thanks for the help and link, I read all of the care sheet it shed a good bit of light. How much do you think I should spray them with calcium? 1-2 times a week?

Spray? I have always dusted feeders for my Jacksons with calcium once a week. I put feeders into a small plastic bag, add whichever supplemwnt is required, shake the bag to dust the insects and then feed them to the chameleon.

...

Yeah, that's one way you can do it...
Right before I had my Jackson's (A few months back) I went to a Petco store getting stuff I needed for them. There was a lady who worked there telling me she uses the spray for her veiled chams, she said it was easy and more effective way to give them the calcium.
It cost a little more then the powder kind but its suppose to be better for them.
I also gut load my Dubias I feed them and I put a ton of the calcium powder in there food.
