i have a turquoise veiled chameleon he is 4 and a half months old and how old do they get there full color or do they stay green all the time

You should start to notice a change in about a month or two. You'll see darker patches and lighter patches on a consistent basis. If you look at my avatar, that's my male veiled, Kimani sleeping. He looks like a duller version of that at all times ever since he turned about 7 months or so. Patience is the key, and once they start showing their big boy colors you'll miss how sweet and innocent they looked as babies!
