if the suns coming in through the window he isnt really benefiting from it uvb-wise. there shouldnt be any glass or plastic between the cham and the uvb light source, so hopefully you have a uvb light over his tank. if so then disregard this
yeah, as long as hes dark only when under his light hes just basking. its cute catching my cham basking when she flattens up and turns towards the sun. shes like a chameleon pancake![]()
What kind of chameleon is this?
veiled boy
i got 75w bulb and 100w bulb , but a lot of ppl told me to get 60w . so wich one is good for my veiled . the cage size is 4ft by 2ft .screen cage . and the closest branch i got to the bulb is about 8".
the 1 im using right now is 75w
Hopefully you have a digital thermometer with a probe so you can measure the exact temperature.
Exactly as Julirs said. He knows a lot!
Guessing what light bulb to use is like a crap shoot without a digital thermometer to tell you what the actual temps are at the basking spot.
"He"???![]()
