Is this normal?

He usually sleeps at the bottom of the cage where the plants are and yesterday he started sleeping on the background is it normal

What kind of chameleon do you have? It's so light! It almost matches that foam.

he's doing good I've had him for more than a month now I have been feeding him crickets and he's being going nuts on them

They sleep where they want and sometimes it’s in what we think of as weird spots or positions. Basically, they can so they do.

If he's very young, I wouldn't be surprised if this changes in time.

An upshot is that if he's comfortable enough to do this, that's a good thing.
