Is a sugar vine safe for my veiled chameleon?

My chameleon keeps trying to eat the dead leaves off of this Sugarvine. Is it safe for him?

Can't find any info one way or another, but I wouldn't be concerned unless he's stripping it like crazy. I have a sugar vine (small leaf Virginia creeper) in with my female veiled, and I'm unconcerned about it.

Don’t know if it’s toxic but I do know that I’ve never heard it said that it is either.

Searches aren't bringing up any red flags, so I'm inclined to treat it as more or less safe.
