yep....can't really see a bump where there should be a bump and the coloring still suggests a female to me. don't get upset about it. It happens more than you'd think. I have a girl right now that was supposed to be a boy...And when i bought shim it was 6 months old.

It's hard to not feel like an idiot....either way Reno/a is a great pet and a pleasure to watch.

I hope you will keep her. Little girls are very sweet and they deserve a good home,too. When the time comes we will help you with the laying bin and egg laying process.

Two people at LLL Reptiles agree that Reno's a male. One saw pictures I sent of him. The seller who helped me select Reno says he's 100% sure Reno's a male.

I wouldnt make a definite decision based on the pics I have seen of it. Although I might swing towards female. Some can start to color up much later than others and unless the colors scream male then it should not be based on color. Try to get a better picture of it with its tail sticking straight out or mostly straight out. The angle of the first picture is a good angle but you really cant see the profile with the tail wrapped around the stick.

If it is indeed a female. Well, that is going to be one sexy girl!!! Ive had a few adult panthers and have raised a few clutches and I must say, I liked the females of this species much more than males. Color and demeanor.
