Has anyone here every tried leaving there eggs in there laying bin and letting them hatch naturally? I know some people do it with pygmies, but has anyone tried it with other species?

It usually doesn't work. Doing that you have less control over the humidity of the substrate and temperature.
I've had lateralis hatch from eggs that we never dug up from plant pots. I was just to lazy to dig them up and I already had a few clutch's from other females so I just left them. I think like 10 hatched. No idea on how big the clutch was.
