impaction

What do you suspect is impacting your cham?

My first suggestion is, if the cham is impacted with a large food item, extra basking heat should help digest it .

If it is a wood chip or similar substrate item, then I would suggest a vet visit.

How long has it been since your cham has gone? I would suggest giving him a shower for a bit then if that doesn't help take him to the vet.

Well I'd suggest taking him to the vet since this can be a life threatening problem. I know first hand bc I lost my first cham to one. When hermie got an impaction we did an xray to check him out, elected not to do a barium series at that time, as it seemed a little too stressful considering he was still looking good. The vet had me give him sub q fluids twice a day and mineral oil twice a day to help grease him up (mineral oil is not the same something such as giving corn oil, bc they do not digest the mineral oil) and within two days he passed it (along with a nice oily mess)
