Ikea plants

Hi,

My panther cham likes to come out of his enclosure and climb around our living room. We have bought this plant https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/dypsis-lutescens-potted-plant-areca-palm-46804005/, and are interested in buying these two plants https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/yucca-elephantipes-potted-plant-spineless-yucca-2-stem-10329308/ and https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/dracaena-massangeana-potted-plant-dom-plant-2-stem-70408468/. I cannot see the plant we've bought on the good or bad list, so wondering if anyone has any ideas on this? Also, are IKEA plants safe? Whilst the species of plant is safe, I want to be sure they aren't sprayed with chemicals etc.

Thanks in advance,

Nick

All those plants are fine. Just make sure you reply them with organic soil. Thanks for making me want to go buy more plants now(y)

You want to make sure it says organic on the bag. Sorry I’m in the US so I’m not sure what they sell over the pond, maybe a UK member will see this and have a option on soil for you but both those souls are a no go

Ironically I'm headed to IKEA tomorrow (only my 2nd time there ever!), and planning on picking up a couple of spider plants for my cham's cage. :)

I don't use organic soil, it's often a load of BS anyway. As long as it's natural ingredients I'm good with it. Foxfarms is a good quality soil and it is not organic, but I use it in many enclosures ;)

Yeah we know you do what you want
