I saw a chameleon
IMG_1693.JPG
on a tree in my backyard today, Orlando FL. Can it be there without care? Do you think it can be as naturally?

Thanks

If you were further south I'd say he could survive all year, but in Orlando I highly doubt it. Try to catch him and bring him inside because he's not native, and is an escaped pet. Also, contact Dez on here - she's in the area and had an issue last year with stolen panthers (she's the owner of Chamalot Chameleons). Maybe he's one of hers?

Thanks, let see if I can find it tomorrow.

there is one population that has only recently been completely wiped out, but it has survived for over 8 years. its true that some may not survive, but others do pull through sometimes.

This post is 4 years old. The OP hasn't posted since then...you're not likely to get any replies.
