I got a bearded dragon today and some tips would be great!
If any one on here owns one and could maybe let me know about appropriate heats for day time and night time ect. that would be great!
Or point me in the directions for a GOOD care sheet.
I saw some but they were very lacking.
BTW hes a baby c:
so the info you give me should be for a baby.

Go to Beardeddragon.org-several good care sheets there. How baby is it? When adult they need at least a 40 gallon breeder tank, they need UVB just like the chams, supplements, and temps for a baby are sugggested from 100-110-just be careful not to fry the little one, but they do need high heat to digest, They also eat plenty of salad, so read up on that. Babies can eat up to 20+ appropriately sized crickets daily.

+1 for beardeddragons.org some of the stuff there saved my life, err my beardies lifes

a few things ive picked up

- tile flooring is amazing. Its easy to clean, looks good and hold heat for belly temps amazing

- an appropriate wattage flood, not spot, light is best for basking. It throws heat/light out in such a wide pattern you can get basking spots up around 115* and then the pattern is so wide it keeps your ambient temps in the 90*s

- keep your lettuce/shredded veggies in their water dish. it keeps the veggies fresher longer and lets them get water while they are eating. Misting is another fun way to water your beardies, mine love it nd when they see the mister they come running like reptar does
