Fenix mow down 20 1/4 inch crix in 5 minutes! Dude is gunna eat me out of house and home! On a side note, he has not expressed any interest in the dubia, horn or silkworms... Does it normally take awhile for a young cham to identify other insects as food??

That's awesome glad to hear he has a good appetite! I'm sure he'll come around to eating the other bugs. Maybe just try leaving a few horn worms on a few vines inside his place? That's how I got my Cham to go for something new! He sure loves his crickets still...

I was wondering that too. I've got two young ones who show no interest in anything but crickets. One of them even flares up at butter worms. It's kind of funny. He puffs up and looks like he's gonna bite...and then he goes the other way. He doesn't even puff at me, just those evil butter worms.

Lol, you should starve him for a few days and show him whos boss! perhaps try offering him smaller locust, crix, roaches etc to entice him. Some dont like the adults.

I really dont think its the size, he just doesnt really like them much. I didnt feed him anything for two days and he still only ate 5. Hes a butt sometimes . I havent had hornworms for like two weeks, but when i got them today he ate 5 medium ones right out of my hand

If it makes you feel better, I gave Isabella her first Dubia today just to see if she would like them before I start breeding the hell out of them and she stared at it for like 30 minutes lmao so I guess it just takes time
