could be a graceful chameleon or a senegal chameleon, either of the two are my best bet

Hi! You'll find people here are very willing to be helpful.

Just FYI, typing in capitals can be taken as yelling by your readers, so maybe stick to upper and lower case.

As noted, that's not a Jackson's. I agree that Graceful and Senegal are likely choices.

To the experts, I ask: aren't flapnecks similar in appearance? And, how can Lilstar learn what she really has (what pictures does she need to take so you people who know all sorts of stuff can say "oh, that's a .......")?

Lilstar, as you just got her, almost anything can be normal. They can take a week to adjust so counting crickets at this point isn't worth your time.

You might want to try bucket feeding the crickets. Instead of free ranging them, put them in a container big enough so they don't get out. Make sure your chameleon has access so she can hunt them in the bucket. I've seen people use cut down gallon milk jugs for this.

to be honest, im pretty sure its a graceful chameleon, she has all the traits, sens look abit different. You definately will want to get a misting system, if you have the money for it, get a mistking misting system, they are extremely well made and are a chameleon must have. If you dont have enough, you can get a haba mister, but you should note, its not great, many people on the forum refer to it as a habba spitter.

You should probably fill out this sheet for us, you never know if the info you are getting on the internet is good, and if anything, some of the most experianced chameleon keepers are on this forum

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
Location - Where are you geographically located?

There's a second thread about this, and Chris Anderson has identified it as a Graceful.

Lilstar, if it were me, I would attach it to the side of the cage so the chameleon doesn't have to go all the way to the bottom to feed.
