So I noticed about 4 days ago that my chameleons appetite has shrunk, and 2 days ago I noticed that he also had not pooped in a couple of days, and the area around his bottom(vent) was swollen. I figured he was sort of dehydrated, so I started using my "little dripper" and he drank right up.(I havent used it much until a fwe days ago, now its almost always on) and pooped that night. well today while I was home for my lunch hour I noticed that it was still there. Im worried about what this could be. I live well over 2 hours from the nearest exotic vet clinic, so Im hoping I can get this figured out. He has had less energy these last few days, but Im assuming its because he is barely eating. (Hes eaten one cricket in like 3-4 days.)
The first picture is him the night I noticed it, before he had pooped.
The second picture is him tonight.
It looks like its just the area around his vent that is swollen. He is also somewhat discolored in that area.
