How to get veiled to drink

Hey guys, since I don't have an automatic misting system yet, I hand mist my cham's cage. But, I also set up a dripper system so my cham can drink while I'm away and unable to mist. Yet, I keep scooping light orange urate- meaning that he is not drinking from the dripper. Is there any way to get him to drink from the dripper and not always rely on mistings for water? Thanks

You can try getting him to drink out of a glass. I held the glass a couple times a week with mine on my arm and he started to sip around the edges. After a couple weeks I put the glass in his cage and he started to go to it. Not as often as I'd like but I think he knows it's there.

Put the dripper tubing right next to his basking spot....wait n see him drinking,he needs notice the water drops movement in order for him to drink from the dripper

I let my veiled bask in the morning, then I use hot water to mist his cage, by the time the mist gets to the Cham it's only slightly warmer than room temp, I keep spraying him and his cage until he settles down on a branch, pause for a second or two, he usually opens one of his eyes and maybe licks his lips, I then start spraying again and he usually starts to take gulps of the droplets running down his casque and face. This process usually takes about 5-10 min of misting. He won't drink every time, but that procedure has yield the best results for my Cham.. Warm water was key, I noticed that the cold or cool water he would just run away from. Remember not to use water that is too hot, the point is to not torture your Cham with freezing cold water .. Good luck!
