How smelly is too smelly?

I know that smelly poop can mean parasites, but, how smelly is too smelly? How bad does the smell have to be to mean something is wrong? All poop smells - especially that of critters that eat a predominantly protein diet. Some people's noses (and stomachs!) are more sensitive than others, so a bad smell to one person may not be too bad to another! :D

I found that when Lily ate a couple of supers her next poop didn't have such an aroma about it! I think diet plays a large part in the smell too.

Chameleon poop shouldnt smell (unless you stick your nose right it in). If you open the cage or are near the cage and notice an odour, there is likely something wrong.

I know that after cushcameleon's post everyone will be scared of some smell- I can say that even high temperature and humidity increase the smell when tho poop is not removed fast from the enclosure.
I think it's too much when you open the enclosure and it hits you in your face, while the bad smell which you notice while removing the poo is acceptable.
Some food really makes it smell worse..
And the easiest way how to tell whether it's bad or not is getting it examined by the vet- it's nothing expensive and you know for sure in a few days.
