How often should sub-adult chameleon be shedding?

Hello everyone,
My 8 months old chameleon was shedding last month and she started to shed again today. Is this normal? Or does it mean that she is growing to fast? Maybe I'm overfeeding her?

Thank you. The blog is really helpful. It doesn't mention at what age to start feeding the Veiled Chameleon every other day though. In some articles I have read said at age of 10 months or 12 months. I still feed her everyday with about 6 medium insects a day and she always look hungry and search for food. I'm afraid to overfeed her but also don't want to keep her hungry too.

what temperature is she being kept at?

what type of prey are you offering?

Its not abnormal for a female to seek more food than is necessary for good health.

can you post a couple photos? might help us help you see if she's on the plump side.
Tail should be oval, rather than fat and round. Head should not have protruding fat pads.

I just cut my healthy four month old female veiled to every other day.

She is being kept daytime at 80-85 degrees temperature, basking spot at 90-95 degrees. I feed her about 6 insects a day (4 medium crickets and 2 worms), some days less, like 4 or 2. Her prey: crickets, silkworms, hornworms, butterworms, superworms, green banana roaches, orange isopods, blue bottle flies, wax worm moths. She is recovering from MBD, so I was told not to cut on food. Maybe calcium injections prompt the shedding. Also last vet appointment (around 2 months ago) ultrasound showed that she is carrying eggs. Let me know what you think.
