Yeah I only kept my baby Veiled in a cage that size for about a month then got a nice large enclosure for her to roam around in. But if you do upgrade to a larger cage, i would recommend cup feeder to make sure he/she gets all of the food they need.
I would say don't wait longer than a month to upgrade him. Move up to a 18"x18"x36" open-air enclosure. When he's an adult (8-12 months) he'll be ready for a 2'x2'x4' enclosure. What kind of tips are you looking for?
I want the couple but right now the female is the one that needs less space so soon I will move to another house to have the couple, because for the male veiled I would make his own cage about 32x30x52
Heck yeah, bigger the better. As for tips...
-Humidity around 60% daytime, 80%+ at night
-Basking temps around 90 for males, around mid 80's for females
-Ambient temps of low to mid 70's
