Hiya Ive an oustalet chameleon and im wondering if its over to be over 90F directly under the bulb???? The viv is made up of wire netting on the top and on both the left and right hand sides of the viv. The light bulb is in a fitting on the outside of the top of the viv whereas its getting to at least 110F on the netting!!! Now can it be that and a bit lower at the top of my plant where he usually basks or should it be 90F on the netting directly beneath the light as Im having difficulty getting that temprature!!!

Please help!!!!

Im thinking of replacing the Spotlight bulbs that came with the vivs and putting in reptile radiators instead, would that be feasable if I put the dimmer stat probe directly under the radiator and set the stat to turn the radiator to switch off at 90F????
