Hi,
I'm wondering whether to try my 5 month old veiled on large locusts? He's practically swallowing the medium ones whole & is easily eating 8 per day . I know the rule of thumb for feeder size is the width between their eyes, but I assume that's referring to width as opposed to length? I mean, most of the worms are longer than the space between their eyes.
Neelix is currently costing me more than the cat to feed! It's not that the cost is a problem, I'm just wondering if larger feeders would cut the cost. Or maybe I'd just end up paying the same price for fewer but larger feeders.
