how can I make a hornworm and silkworm habitat so I don’t have to spend money on the cups. Is there something I need in particular?

If you have a mullberry tree, then just gets 1-2ft tall bucket and put 1 layer of leaves down a day. They will naturally crawl towards the top. Every 2 weeks peel off the bottom leaves.

For horn worms, you just need to gets some plastice screen so that the poop falls to the bottom of the "cup" and figure out a container/screen that you can smear food on the top. The whole goal for hornworms is just getting a system that they dont poop on the food.

from my understanding silks are easier... Though I've only tinkered with each. I do know you can buy silk eggs pretty cheap so that you don't have to deal with adults.
