Well, I'm glad I posted my experience since it seems to have helped you, too. Taking the hanging plant out of Lola's enclosure has totally changed her activity level. She roams all over the place now. Before she just sat on one vine and looked grumpy all the time.

I think I figured out that Lola doesn't like a lot of things above her. Just rearranging the rain system or the lights on the top of her cage is enough to make her grumpy.
