Hi, I just thought I would introduce myself here as a new member. My name's Ben and I currently have 5 veiled chams.
I'm currently in the process of trying to breed them but my girls seem a bit unresponsive. I've had 2 clutches of duff eggs from one of my girls and was hoping for the next clutch to be fertile, the thing is when I put her with a boy its not that she shows unreceptive colour but the boy just doesn't seem to get her in the right position and after an hour of clambering about he gets bored and wanders off leaving her sat there looking pretty bewildered. Her most recent clutch of duff eggs were developed and laid without seeing a male as I missed the signs of her being truly receptive. She laid them about 3 weeks ago. She eats shed's drinks fine and has no signs of being in ill health at all. I'm wondering if its just me being impatient and maybe give her another week off before trying again.
any help greatly appreciated oh and hello
