Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - 4-5 month old captive bred veiled chameleon. has been in my care for 4 days.
Handling - once daily for 5 minutes at a time.
Feeding - i feed gutloaded crickets. about 10-15 a day
Supplements - zoo med calcium with d3 is what i dust with.
Watering - i mist my chameleon daily and often for about 5-10 mintues at a time. i havnt seen it drinking
Fecal Description - color and consitency is good. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? no.
History - i had visited the store where my parents got the chameleon and it was properly care for (screen enclosure no water bowl etc.)
Cage Info:
Cage Type - all screen cage 16"x16"x36"
Lighting - powersun 100 watt. lights on at 8 and off at 8
Temperature - unknown. just recieved as a suprise gift. had done research before so wasnt entirely unprepared.
Humidity - 65%. i mist whenever i get the chance until leaves on plants are dripping
Plants - no live plants as of yet
Placement - cage in my bedroom. approx feet off the ground at its highest point. there is an airvent near but no draft.
Location - florida
Current Problem - my chameleon has just shed and has some skin left on its tail. what can i do to help it?
