Help!

I got my new and first panther chameleon 15 minutes ago. As soon as I put him in he has been sitting on one branch with an extremely stiff tail. He is turning extremely brown and I don't know what do do. Please help.

make sure his temps are rightm then leave him alone.

New chameleons don't tend to eat on their first day. It's best to just leave them alone the first day unless they seem comfortable, and try feeding tomorrow.

I would hope you would have had his setup ready with the correct temps before he arrived. Did we misunderstand?
