Hello all,
I have just recently (yesterday) become the proud owner of a panther chameleon. Like many others I have tons of questions and am worried about not doing EVERYTHING perfectly for my little guy. So her are my questions as of right now:
1. I was told today at the pet store that my chameleon is small and skinny for his age and to feed him dusted crickets as often as he will eat them (but not to leave them in the cage). Is there anything else I can do to help him stay healthy? he has been very active throughout the day and I have multi vitamin and calcium dust for the crickets.
2. At night do I turn all the lights off? I assumed this but then wont he get cold? Tonight I turned the lights off and when I went into check on him he was yellow and very still. He didnt wake up very easily but did when I turned the lights on. Is this normal for chameleons?
please add any information that can help me!
