my chameleon seems to have a impacted sperm plug but the problem is it also looks like he's prolapsing to im to scared to pull it out because i do not want to hurt him if it is a prolapse. i soaked him in warm sugar water for a good 20-25 minutes but still no luck what should i do?

Yes, keep it moist. When it is not kept moist the prolapse penis can dry up and become gangrenous!

its still stuck but it came out much more so hopefully it comes out on it own if not im just going to take him to the vet. ive been applying KY jelly and some neosporin to prevent an infection.

You dont want it to come out more you want it to go back inside, id call a local bet thats is an expert with herps in your area

The sperm plug needs to come out but the pink "prolapsed" tissue needs to be kept moist and go back in. Maybe you should take it to a vet.
