HELP! My chameleon has something going on with her mouth.

Hello and welcome!

It looks like possibly mouth rot to me. I would highly recommend getting her to an exotic vet with chameleon care experience asap. Let us know if you need help finding a vet and how else we can help.

While at the vet, you may want to ask about an x ray too. She has gravid coloring.

Has she ever laid eggs. Does she have a lay bin in her cage.

This is a different chameleon. And no she hasn't laid any eggs that I know of.

Just got back from the Vet. She had some sort of infection but not ruling out mouth rot. She's on 3 diff meds. Pain relief, antibiotics and something for inflammation.

Do make sure to offer a little extra hydration in whatever way you can. Silkworms are always great - soft feeder that won’t hurt her mouth and extra juicy. Hornworms are great, but not as nutritious and they can bite back. Most antibiotics, anti inflammatories and such can be hard on the kidneys.

Might be cautious with the pain med... I would make the antibiotic and the inflammation med the priority.
