heating?

i have a new fletchers chameleon. and i was wondering if my general room temperature is in the high 70s right now and in general if i need to have the heat lamp on? i am using an incadessent night glow bulb for warmth, and i have 75 and 50 watt infra red bulbs for if it gets colder. right now the thermometer in his terrarium says 76 around the direct center of it

ha. yeah. i got a bit mixed up there. his name is fletcher, and he is a fischer's chameleon. he has been fairly active and friendly, and i just want some advice from people who have experience with the species. i'm likely going to get him a hibiscus and a palm in the next couple of months
