How in the world do yall get your temps past 78 all over the tank? By my lights, of course are hot. Down at the bottom though, it cools off? Normal? What else can i do to get the temps to 80+?

You want it cooler at the bottom.
do you have a digital temp reader for ambient readings?
They like being able to move in and out of different temps.
I think your good, but forgive me, I don't know your setup

I have a digi, yes! He is fine i just never get my temps a steady 80+.....He loves life so im hoping thats all that matters

As long as there's a warm basking area, you're probably fine with a cooler area at the bottom of the cage. 70 - 78 at the bottom of the cage is alright as long as the basking area is in the appropriate range. Your cham will adjust its basking and foraging times accordingly.

the bottom of my cage ranges from 65-73 but he only stays in the top 4 feet of the cage so i could care less what the bottom of the cage temp is, if a cricket gets out of the feeder it will go up the screen to get warm and then get picked off from a hunting cham.

but like they said if the basking spot if the right temp ur cham will pick what he likes most and warm up when he needs to
