I think it’s ok to aim the fog at him. My guy often sleeps in the flow of fog coming down into his enclosure.

So as of now his RI seems to be gone. His main issue is he doesn't get up in the morning. He just stays there cold and half sleeping. If I pick him up and put him in his basking spot or take him outside he gets going and is pretty active the rest of the day.
