We got some very nice, sunny and warm weather here today so the chams and I celebrated with a day outside. I took a bunch of pictures, but as usual, most were blurry and unfocused. A few were somewhat viewable though
Here's a couple of the Meller's. They've finally started to really take off with their growing over the last month and I'm really proud of them. I was trying to capture the closest one drinking from the leaves in front of him but these were the best I got:
These two pics were taken seconds apart and are notable because of how fast Janet started turning dark with me and the camera in her cage. She's a Ch. (T.) jacksonii jacksonii.
Here's Junior enjoying the Ficus out front. He may be a bit obscured, but at least he wasn't gaping at me. He's fine with women holding him, but he HATES me.
I also got a couple pics of the flappers.
I tried to get some pics of the Ambanja-type pair, Sidney and Nancy but this was the only one that sorta turned out. Btw, Sidney gets a lot of white on his flanks when he's mad that's quite stunning.
ONE of the pics of this carpet male turned out
And the last chams are a couple of three week old baby panthers from the Parang clutch. Junior is in that Ficus somewhere also
The most frustrating thing about my camera is that photos of babies turn out like this (or, usually, much worse).
Oh, and I couldn't resist adding this one up. End of the day with the Pacific through the trees:
