I have been breeding veiled chams now for about 5 years and have learned that it is not quantity but quality that counts. I have finally had a project that gave me a real beauty. He is Golden Boy, son of Merlin the Magnificient and Minnie. He is just 6 months old and with each shed is becoming more and more golden. Mom has gold colors when she is gravid and dad has the beautiful yellows and bright greens and some golden lines. By the time this guy is full grown he is going to be magnificient!
If I see something remarkable in a baby I hold onto it, whether it is a boy or girl. During the first 2 weeks they seem to show lots of color before turning into a green machine. Someone here said veileds aren't pretty, well, just take a look at this little guy. I took the pic with my phone and hope the color doesn't wash out too much.
