so ive seen some people where special gloves while handling thier cham, and just recently i was handling my cham and broke out in a bunch or itchy spots on my hands. This has never happened to me before with other handling but just recently. So i was going to buy some gloves, and wanted input on which would be the best.

Do you think it was just his little nails that broke the skin? Sometimes they hold on harder than you think and then it stings a little. Hope you're not allergic to your pet!

When I had gloves for a really aggressive one I bought gardening gloves and they did great.

Home depot or Lowes has a decent selection of work gloves in a wide variety of thickness and styles. You probably want something thick enough that the nails won't poke through, since the break in the skin from them was probably what triggered the itchiness, but not so thick that you can't move your fingers. I'd try there to see what they have.

Yah those nails on my veiled are crazy! And after I put him back in his cage it started to sting and itch really bad but all I use is regular gardening gloves and they work perfect

yeah im assuming its the break in the skin, only because i tried it again after everything went away but with the other hand and it had the same effect. so i went out and bought a set of gloves that seem to work out just fine
