- Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
- Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
- Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
- Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
- Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
- Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
- History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.
Cage Info:
- Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
- Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
- Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
- Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
- Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
- Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
- Location - Where are you geographically located?
.Chameleon- its a girl jackson cham shes about 5-6 months old and shes only been in my care for 2 days but I work at the store I bought her from as well if that changes anything
.handeling- I've handled her twice sense i got her once to show my friend and once to move her into her cage and currently im just letting her do her thing just so i dont stress her out
.feeding- so far ive only tried feeding her crickets dusted with calcium powder and vitamin powder cuz shes not a big fan of greens or worms and I tried feeding her four-five of those and the schedule is every morning
.Supplements - I use the zoomed vitamins and calcium suplemts and im not on a set sexual yet for dusting them
.Watering- I mist and when I mist I mist for about 30 seconds about 3-4 times daily and use a dripper and it seems like the drippers the only thing she will drink from
.Fecal description - shes only pooped once sense shes been in my care and it was dark brown with white and wet but it wasent liquid and she hasnt been tested
.History- I got her from petco she came from a really open cage that was a short and wide glass cage with little cover shes pretty clumsy and hasent had any past illness
.Cage- its a full screen cage 30.5 x 18 x 18
.Lighting- I'm useing the zoo med duel uvb heating lamp with a 50w basking bulb and I have my lights on a timer from 10 am to 10 pm
.Temp- her basking spot is at 85 degrees and at mid level the temp is 75 degrees cage floors about 70-69 and the over night temps are about 70 degrees and i measure that all with the digital thermometers
Humidity I keep it at about 65-50% and yea I'm for sure maintain them very well and I measure them with a zoomed humidity gauge
.Plants- all my plants are fake
.Placement- the cage is in my room which is usally low traficed but ive been off work the two days ive had her so its been more traficed then normal and the cage is very high its almost touching my ceiling and its not by any fans or vents
