getting things to stick to a cage?

i have a question about how to hook up a hose from a humidifier to the side of the screened cage? i tried all kinds of tape but they end up falling off. what else can work?

You could try putting two holes at the end of the hose, running wire through it and then running the wire through that screen. That's how most of my stuff is secured to the screen.

The problem with just attaching the hose to the mesh on the side of the cage is that much of the fog will just bead up on the screen and drip down the outside of the cage..a mess and a waste of the water. To get the fog into the cage most efficiently from the side, you'll need to cut a hole or a slit in the mesh and push the end of the tube through it. If you position the tube on the cage top, the droplets will eventually fall into the cage instead. I know, I hate to make holes in my cage mesh too, but unless you are going to have the humidifier tube on the cage top it won't work as well.
