Gaping cham and low humidity

I came home from work today and saw Ripley sitting on her sleeping branch with her mouth open. I've never seen her doing that before. I checked her mouth, it looked perfectly fine. She hissed at me, and the sound was usual.
There was another unusual thing: the humidity was lower than 10% I sprayed her for good 5 min, and she hasn't opened her mouth since.
It got pretty cold over here, so the heating comes on quite a lot and it gets very dry. My partner wasn't home for the whole day too, so nobody sprayed her (although the dripper was on). That's the 1st time such day happened, but I suppose I should be prepared for such occasions.
Was she doing that cause it was too dry? If I see her doing this again, I'm definitely taking her to the vet, but hopefully she will be fine. Also I'm thinking about investing in a misting system. Is Lucky Reptile Super Rain Mist System good for that?

Having posted last week about humidity being finein my Reptibreeze, I am encountering the same problem! It's this current cold, dry weather combined with having the central heating on. I have covered one side of Monty's viv in plastic now as well as the back and I am misting both chams at least 3 times a day! Even the humidity in Zippy's Exo drops quite badly too. Damn weather - I much prefer the summer!

What's the temp? That usually means it's too hot.

Her sleeping branch is close to the bottom, so it would be in 70s

it used to be fine in Ripley's reptibreeze! But today is was at like 5% when I cam home. Gotta buy a misting system I think. Don't think the winter is going to be nice for us ey. My wee dude is in a Lucky Reptile OpenAir (it's his quarantine one), it seems to keep the humidity better
