Flightless Fruit Fly Wrangling??? HALP!!

So I know a lot of you feed fruit flies to you pygmies. How do you guys keep from having escapes when you go to put some in your tanks? Can't they get out through the screen of the tank or escape when transporting?

My girlfriend got a baby tree frog and she picked up some flies, but i'm scared to death that a couple are going to escape and colonize somewhere dark and hidden in my apartment. Or almost as bad, colonize in the soil of the tank, OVER-TAKING THE TREE FROG, MY DOG, CAT, BRAAAAIIINNNZZZ!!!

lol. Try hanging fly tape close to the enclosure to nab any escapees.

Hmm... well they are flightless...

I get escapee's all the time when feeding baby chams. They only live a short time and die off and they won't go colonize somewhere in your house. If anything, they are extra goodies for the spiders.

You can also stick a little dabble of baby food around the cage and the flies will go right to it.
