Lil H my K. Multi. is digging right now to lay her first clutch of eggs. She is 7- 7/12 months old.
Before i had a female i'd always read these exact threads and think.. Why does everyone get so stressed out about it?
But now i see! the last few weeks i've been noticing her getting more "eggy" looking. So me and Seeco have been talking about egg laying set ups and what works best for him.
I weighed her last week. 13 grams. Put her in a 5 gallon bucket with 12 inches of sand. Dug a hole about 6 inches in. I also drilled a peep hole. (Sorry, i had to steel the idea from you Jordan, Saw it on your video) Left her in there for 2 1/2 days on the 12 hours on 12 off lights. Nothing so i put her in her cage for a few days and put her back in the bucket yesterday. As of this afternoon she starting digging!
I've been so stressed out worring about not having things set up right and her becoming egg bound... Now hopefully all the rest goes well. Hers and my first egg clutch
