I have looked everywhere...walmart, home depot, lowes hardware....where can i buy a ficus tree for my chams i have a few pothos and a couple umbrellas, but i want a ficus really bad...

you might not find one this time of year where you are....try a pikes nursery if they are still around...also try greenhouse plant nurserys and craigs list....

Sorry i forgot to say I have tried all of my nurseries around here also...is there any where i can order one online?

I had difficulty finding a ficus on the LLL website, but I know they have them because I've seen them. It might be worth a toll free call...888-547-3784.

Its still too early. Ficus don't do well in the cold (a frost will make them drop their leaves, and can kill them), so with this winter being so cold, the nurseries wont stock them until it gets warmer....I know, I've been trying to get one for over a month now(I finally ended up at a couple of wholesalers and got the scoop....and a couple of awesome Ficus :D ). I'm in southern California, and they just started showing up in the retail nurseries last week (home depot has them now, but not lowes or armstrong yet). I would guess your still about 2-3 weeks away from seeing them in your neck of the woods.

how much are you guys paying for your ficuses? the nursery around me has a few but they cost anywhere from 50-150$ and about 3-6 ft tall. Is that way over priced?

Just bought a ficus benjamina is that a good real plant for my cham?(got it from home depot) When i trimmed it to fit my enclosure it bled a white substance.

$17 for my four footer at the wholesale place. The brades and single trunks are a bit more, but not much. Go to the source if you can, the plants are cheaper, and you get a better selection.

Home depot is at 22.95 at the moment for ALL of their ficus no matter what size (had to run out and buy a small one yesterday when a semi-unexpected cham showed up on my desk)

At least for my area in South Florida, many places have stopped carrying ficus due to the white fly moth epidemic. I'm not exactly sure whether that may be the case in your area, but it might help explain the scarcity.
