Most female chameleons that I know of usually lay eggs regardless of male contact. These eggs, however, will not be fertile. But you still have to provide a lay box, feed her extra, etc. That's why I have a male veiled!

Considering he just came from the vet 2 days ago with a clean bill of health.

What does he weight? He does look a little over weight lol. I would cut back on feeding a little and get him back to fighting weight.

And for females, pretty much all of them will develop eggs without a male being around or breeding no matter what you do.

I mean he might be a bit,, thick, lol. so may want to cut back on some bugs, maybe take him for a walk, get him some exercise. haha. but no MBD anywhere.

I believe even female jacksons are capable of producing infertile slugs without ever seeing a male, although they seem to do it with less frequency than the egg laying species.
