Female looking bloated or swollen

Yeah I guess your right, I only want the best for my two, and thinking a vet would know her stuff well..... it won't happen again thats for sure. On that note I didnt give him his 3 day course of drops.. after everything I read I just decided it was a no!
My male still isn't eating so it is a concern (well I havent seen him eat in a really long time now) have even offered supperworms and he still turns his nose up at them. He lies practically on his feeder cup and watches the crickets but dosent do anything after that its almost like the crickets, dubias and supers are his friends now so he can't eat them...
I also had the guy who built my viv have a look at him and he says that Leon is in good condition and he can't see any weight loss so he says I should calm down its just his hormones.

Has Leon been tested for parasites?

Can you get any other feeders besides crickets or superworms? Worms and brightly colored and/or flying bugs usually create a great feeding response! Not sure if you’ve seen or someone’s posted the feeder chart, but here it is again just in case!

Yes thank you, I screen shot that image when I first got them so I can refer back to it if need be. I have some black soldier flies so ill try give him those again the last time I tried those they all escaped his enclosure. Hes honestly just lost interest in food. Any shape or form but will try them again

Do you mean black soldier flies or black soldier fly larvae? Have you tried green banana roaches (giant or regular) or red runner roaches? What about silkworms? Or waxworms (obviously just to get some poop moving, not long term)? What about the waxworm moths?

Yes black soldier flies (they were larvae now they flies) silkworms are out of season here oy September (im based in South Africa) not sure and based on a quick google search dosent look like I can get green banana roaches, red runners or wax worms here.

You need to have a convo with the Vet... You need to understand why she is doing this medication and the potential risk of giving it. Or if there is no risk with this one. This may be why they gave it because he was not eating and it is more low risk dosing. Having a good relationship where you can ask your vet the questions that keep you up at night is important.

When did he actually stop eating? Before or after the cage change? Have you added more branches to the cage to give them more pathways? And are all plants in the cage Veiled tested safe plants?

Turkistan roaches are red runners! You can try lobster roaches, too! Both move more than dubias, and Turkistan/red runners are usually a nice bright red! Try the Cape Red Heads, as well! Definitely agree with with everything @Beman said!

My female is far to young to mate so we looking to find another female (owner) who is willing to let them mate so that Leon can work it out of his system.
He stopped eating a week before the new enclosure arrived. So it wasn't even the shock of the new enclosure. So roughly 3 weeks now. I have managed to give him 1 superworm in about 4 days (that he did eat) but other than that he seams to have one thing on the brain.
The breeder also brought alot of other different bugs as suggested by @ERKleRose however Leon looks at them watches them then looses interest. They are still in his feeder cup.

Ok so I want to add here... That this does not mean the reason for not eating is that he wants to mate. I have 3 males... None have been mated and none have seen a female. None of them stop eating because they want to get it on... That is not a legit diagnosis in my opinion. Males will fire up when they see another male too. This is normal this is showing their claim on the territory.

So I really hope you do not bank on this being the reason for not eating.

No, no not banking on it at all, im very concerned about him and looking at all my options here. I dont want to make another "mistake" like the first vet visit, and to be honest I'm very annoyed by the whole situation with the vet and the parasite flush. That's why I haven't contacted her I might spit blood and say something irrational.
But yes I know your right and ill take a chill pill and contact her in the morning.

Just remember she is the Vet. While I was not 100% ok with what she did without running a fecal. She has the education with exotics and there may have been something valid she saw. I know your frustrated and trying to latch on to answers. I have been there. But there is nothing more important then being able to have conversations with your Vet. It is hard when your new and you do not know what to ask or why. There have been situations where I was in the exact same position.

The truth is these are not my chams. I am not there. I can not see the day to day behavior. So taking a moment to collect your thoughts to speak to the vet is your best option.

Seeing another cham or even its reflection may be good here and there because it does trigger natural instincts but as we know too much of this and your just causing stress. Another one of those not enough is known about these animals situations.

Hi Beman, sorry for my late reply its been a bit crazy. Attached is the solarmeter reading and yes he basks in this spot or close to it all the time.
