Female Laying bin/new set up

We just upgraded Inara's home to fit her laying bin and throw in a pothos plant. I'm not 100% sure on her age but I would guess her to be around 6 months. Do you think she would be ready to lay yet? She had been exploring the bottom of her cage a lot and seemed somewhat restless so we got her in the new set up today. Her laying bin is about a foot or more deep and we used play sand mixed with organic soil. I'm open to suggestions! I just want my girl to be happy and have a legit setup :)

have you seen bright colors on her similar to the ones on my avatar? She should get receptive 1st and go nuts in her cage looking for a man in my case my girl was like this for about a month. I had a laying bin in there but it was premature she paid no attention to it until a week before she lay

She had pretty vivid yellow on her the other night but mainly gets dark spots all over. She's been all over her new cage and we saw her in the laying bed checking it out already. I couldn't tell if she had been digging though.

are the dark spots blue? did she look like this?

if so she is receptive give her 3-4 weeks from the time she looked like this then she should be laying

This is exactly what happened to my female veiled. She got these bright blue spots about a month ago and yestery laid 50 eggs!

Is it normal for the colors not to be as pronounced after she lays?
yes immediately following her laying her colors were drab and dark as to be expected she went through a lot after a day or so of rest and lots of hydration and horn, butter, wax worms her colors bounced right back granted not as vibrant as when she was receptive but back to norm healthy

Her spots weren't quite that blue. They were more like the spots closer to her belly in your photo.
