Hi guy, I was checking my chameleon this morning and I noticed that weird color on his knee.. Looks like the color Is bleached out in that area. Is like a fluorescence orange!

Any idea of what could it be? Cheers

Hard to be sure from the pics. (unfocused)
The things that come to mind are:
-Its normal. My guys "knees" are lightly colored similar to that at times.
-Its a burn. (unlikely, it being just on his knee and all)
-Its a shed.
;)
Is this occuring on all his apendages? Or just the one?
How old is he?

He's 8months. And that orangemen is just on one leg.. I think is normal too. Just wanted another opinion.:)
Thanks

After that weird colour change on his leg, this morning I noticed something on his eye, like a scale or dry leaf sticking on it! He's rubbing his face on branches a lot.. Not sure it could be a shed. I'll try to post a picture soon, but you could barely see it as it kind of blending with his colours.. What will be the best cleaning solution for his eyes anyway? In case is just some dry thing that need to be soaked to come off? Can I mix something in hot water that could help, or there's actually some product I could use? Thanx

I would use saline solutin, with nothind added if I needed to flush an eye.
There may be somthing better though IDK.
If he is grinding his face on branches, its a shed!:)
Well, it sounds like a shed.;) Since I cant be sure, but they start to really go at it when they shed, and will even scrape their face with their hind leg like a dog!:p Keep his humidity up, and see if he has any white patches that start to show up, especially around his spine area. If this happens, hes shedding for sure;)

Cheers Dave, I haven't been so freaked out in a while.. When you think you have seen them all something new come up!! :)
If is a shed as I hope, it's happening in a completely new way to me! He does scratch a lot but I can't see any white coming up yet.. And his last shed was on the 16th of January, I wasn't expecting another one so soon! we'll see..
Thanks again..

How old is he? My 6month old shed a month and 3days ago, and is already starting again:D

He's 8 month old and since I got him the 16th of September he shed the 24, the 4th of October, the 18th, the 15th of November and last time the 16th of January.. But he's not eating much recently.. That's probably why I wasn't expecting a shed that soon.. Trying to adjust few things, like better misting to keep the humidity up and try to get silkworms..

Fender he's great lately, no grumpy at all! When I picked him up today to look at his eye I even gently kept his head between my finger to avoid any movement, he just gave me a confused look, not a hiss or sign of grumpiness.. :)
Maybe I'm just being paranoid over nothing. I'll keep a close eye on him and go ahead with the improvements. I'll keep you posted! Thanks again!
