Came home and found our little girl all colored up again, but this time i got some pics. I love the vast color changes these amazing little guys are capable of. To bad my camera isn't picking up the Blues running the ridge of her back. Hope you all enjoy.

i agree. def looks like a male. males of this species are less colorful and more green. i female would show bright colors like reds, yellows, and oranges.

Color is a poor indicator of sex in this species. Hemi bulges show the difference. OP is correct with sex...female. Just realized how old this thread is.

agree...color is a deceptive indicator on sex with carpets.....my male went from looking like this to electric blue....female was the same on how varied she looked....but she never had the blue n her.....
