So i took ester to the vet!! he said that he was a very friendly cham and that he seemed a little dehydrated. He gave him fluid with a shot and thengave me a liquid calcium supplement to give him everyday for a week until he starts eating more on his own. So im excited!! yeaa nothing horrible wrong!! Oh and right before i left for the vet he pooped! I have never been so excited about poop in my life!SO anyways he has no parasites either!yaaaaaaaa:D

Sorry just wanted to share my good news

Oh yea and he weighs 108 grams?? Is this decent?? The vet said it was....

Welcome to our world!!! My husband swears I only have chameleons so I can worry about them. I always worry that one isn't eating, someone is dehydrated, oh no does that one have MBD, that one might have URI and on it goes. But hey I love each one of my chams even the male veiled who hungers for a nice chunk of Mama's hand. I am a mess with my first clutch of baby veiled now hatching, I have 18 and counting.

I am really happy to hear that like the rest of us you worried with no real reason. I hope it is always that way for you.:)

Good deal Codi, glad to see it all turned out for the best.:)

Worring is like a rocking chair...It's something to do, but gets you nowhere...;)

Now if I could just get that to sink into my own head it would be great....:rolleyes:

Wow, it is really obvious how much you care and want the best for your chameleon. I commend you on doing such a great job and taking timely action.

Good thing it wasn't anything serious. I would leave a dripper on for the little guy all day if you have a drainage solution. That way he has no excuse but to get hydrated :)

I hope the best for your future and your chams, sounds like you are on the right road.

Oh and if you can get ahold of some silkworms or hornworms, they are a very hydrated feeder. Not sure about the availability in your state though.
