i then trimed the whole thing in the same 1x2's to cover all staple and give a finished look

so here is the 8' x 24" pine board from before, cut into 2pcs to become the back
i cut then in half then trimed to fit, glued together then stained and varatheyned

i then took a pc of cloroplast sign plastic cut it to fit into the bottom it is flexible so i will put a few holes in it and then screw the middle to my table to create a low spot for drainage, finally a grided light cover cut to fit to allow a flat surface for plants and paper or carpet but still allow water to go through

You are doing great kid! Mom approves  but maybe we need to start finding chameleons for those cages, or send the cages to me. Btw what are all the hanging bags, behind the cabinet picture?

oh they are full LOL;) but more chams are always welcome at my house.
and you are the second person to ask about the bags LOL, they are kits to make radios fit into cars, i am a car audio and electronic tech.
i built the cages at work

Hey Hoj how much did it cost for all the supplies? I'm needing another cage and was gonna order some aluminum screen alluminum frame cages but the wood looks soooo much nicer! I think I wanna follow ur process =D

i spent about 160 per cage but the design could be simplifed to make it cheaper. but i was going for a good looking pc that could be in the living room.

Ya that's actually not to bad though for a nice wood piece. Though 160 at the moment would be alot for me 0.0, I'ma go ahead and order the aluminum one but as soon as next pay check comes...... Im making a cage, one chameleons gonna get the nice one.... the other will just have to have teh aluminum =p ... really... I dont think they care what it looks like on the outside XD
