eating sand

Hi,

Our female veiled has been licking the sand in her laying bin. I did a search on the forums and found that everyone seems to have a different take on this. Is is fine that she eats the sand?

If the sand is the type that doesn't cause impaction its likely okay....but you need to be sure. Could be that she needs more of some nutrient.
