I am willing to bet we could have the meeting on your front lawn and you would find a reason not to be there.

OK this is a mini rant.... and not fueled by any sort of anger or whatever. I want to point out how far some of us do drive to get to these meetings each month.... I know I can speak for Ryan or DJ and Art when I saw Santa Monica is not close. ;D

So for those who are upset they have to spend saturday in the car for a little bit of time, suck it up

Well, what could be more entertaining than a vet office with animals and exotic reptiles?

If someone brought babies I'd have a tough time saying no anyways, so perhaps it is for the better.

I am still gonna hang on to this poor giant grasshopper for Steve until the next meeting. He has been kept in a giant bin for a month, now for another!

I'm really disappointed but will be missing out this time around. Being away for any length of time is difficult as it is especially during the days when the chameleons need the most care. Night time meetings work best for me because of this. This week we have family visiting for my daughters' graduation and not a single one would be interested in a chameleon keepers' meeting.

If anyone locally needs crickets, superworms or fruit flies in bulk, they can be picked up from my house (in Woodland Hills) next Tuesday. Let me know in advance because I'll be picking up my supplies on Monday.

I beleive the parsons comment was meant to be a joke.

Sometimes there are a few/couple animals there. Some for show and tell and some for sale. Cameras are always a good idea. You may want some pics of Dr. Greeks place. It is really nice.

If you are dieing to spend some money , I have a carpet chameleon that would love to go home with you.

I think we are close enough to the area where Steve lives that he might be able to bring one of his Parsoni. He has said he would bring one to a meeting.... but the issue has always been logistics.... since chams don't do well in a box all day under your desk.

Jann and her husband are rearranging their vacation to make it to the meeting and they're from FLORIDA. They'll be coming from San Diego. They want to meet everyone they read posts from.

Steve I think we're inside.... I plan to bring one of the ficus trees I picked up at HD for 10 bucks. If you want I can bring two so you can set your guy on it. The trees at about 5.5' tall. They hold Lenny up very well (has a support stick up the middle)

Howdy Kevin,

There is some seating in his lobby area but if we have the usual 20-25 keepers show-up then we may need more seating. If you have a folding chair, toss it in your car. Otherwise, no big deal if we're standing around like party-goers .
